Campus

Campus is not merely the space and building, it is an integrated environment which spontaneously induces learning. The institute is set up on a single piece of 10 acres land away from city pollution and in a natural clean, calm and quite environment. It is connected to NH-75 by 6 m permanent road winding through the fields. It has its own 24 hrs. fresh potable water supply, MPEB power supply and a stand-by gen-set. Its buildings are beautifully planned not only to satisfy standard norms but to create good learning environment with 3 m wide corridors and well planned toilet blocks. All labs, halls, rooms are nicely lighted, ventilated and furnished. The main building is a RCC framed structure which houses Administration, Library, Computer Center, Labs, Class rooms, Tutorial rooms, Drawing Hall, Student's Common rooms and Faculty rooms. The workshop building is an industrial steel structure with high ceiling and column-free space, which houses shop for different skills.

Library

Books are much more than best friends, at least to the engineering students. Beautiful twin semi-circular halls and a mezzanine floor of about 711.61 sq m area accommodates computerized stack room with more than 8000 books in one hall and a reference section with 45 national and 68 international subscribed journals in mezzanine.News Letter mezzanine monthly & annually . A reading room with 20 subscribed news-papers and periodicals in another hall and seating capacity of library is 200.

Computer Center

Today's technical education revolves around computer. One more beautiful semi-circular hall of about 850 sq m area with curved rows of furniture houses computer center with 375 P4 HCL brand networked machines loaded with system and application software. Multimedia, internet through ISDN and other necessary peripherals are also provided.

Laboratories/ Workshop

Experiments are most important part of technical education as they make the theory 'Visible' and understandable. Labs are thus the vital elements. Six basic engineering laboratories in the main building and seven basic shops in workshop building with total area of more than 1250 sq m are fully set with all equipments, machines, tools and plants to make the student confident and skillful.

Basic Electrical Engineering Lab - This lab trains the students to understand basic characteristics of electrical elements and electrical equipments such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, induction motors, DC motors, DC generators and transformers.

Basic Mechanical Engineering Lab - This lab imparts basic knowledge about working of various types of boilers, control valves, steam engines and internal combustion engines.

Basic Civil Engineering Lab - This lab lays more emphasis on the basic skill of surveying and leveling apart from testing of various building materials.

Basic Mechanics Lab - Experiments of this lab are designed to demonstrate the basic laws that govern the motion or state of rest. It also enables students to 'Visualize' how forces are transmitted from one point to other.

Engineering Physics Lab - This lab helps student to explore the use of basic physics principles for engineering applications.

Engineering Chemistry Lab - Main aim of this lab is to train students in testing of water, fuels, lubricants and alloys.

Work Shop - The work shop imparts basic skills to the students in the following shops -- Carpentary, Pattern Making, Fitting, Welding, Smithy and Moulding.

Hostel

Sports

The Fields for Volley ball and Kabbaddi are provided. Indoor games facility for Chess, Carrom, Table tennis will be provides. These facilities are supervised by the sports and Physical Training Instructor.

• A well furnished canteen is available to cater to the needs of students and staff. Cold and Hot beverages and snacks will be available and if required mid-day meals also will be provides
• Safe Acqua-Guard treated and cool drinking water is available.
• Well planned and maintained gents and ladies toilet blocks are available.
