Cultural Activities:The college celebrated its Annual Day " UTSAV NAGA "Yearly. Finalists from "UTSAV NAGA 2004" were sent to participate in the cultural festival organized by RGPV and our team bagged first prizes in solo and group singing. They also gave guest performance at cultural event organized by IIITM, Gwalior.

Sports Activities:"NAGA 11", the college cricket team participated in the Shri Madhavroa Scindiya Memorial Cricket tournament organized by SATI Vidisha, They performed extremely well, even though it was their first chance. The Champions of the tournament remarked that it will be difficult job for them to keep away "NAGA 11".

Literary Activities:The college magazine , "ANUPAM NAGA " evoked tremendous response. Students and teachers submitted large number of articles. To feel it, you have to read it !

Students Bodies & Clubs - Students Council has been formed as per the direction of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya to conduct the various activities such as Literary, Cultural and Sports. Establishment of Students Chapters of various technical bodies such as Institution of Engineers, Indian Society for Technical Education etc. is under progress.

Recreation & Hobbies - Various Hobby Centers have been formed to ensure development of latent skills of the students. College annual events are been conducted and a College Magazine will be published at the end of the academic year.

Technical & Academic Events - Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Technical quizzes, Technical paper contests, Industrial visits and Expert Lectures of Eminent Persons from field are been organized through these bodies.

Tutor Guardian Scheme

There is no shortcut to success. needs to be understood by the students !

This Scheme is designed to help students to solve their academic problems. In this scheme, teacher is assigned to a group of about 15 students and who guides students about --

• The qualitative difference between engineering education system and the education system through which students have studied up to XII.
• Key for successful engineering education, which is a pre-requisite for good placement at the end.
• How to score good marks in the exam.- finer points of study of various subjects.
• How to prepare for competitive exams and interviews.
• The performance of student in the test , his regularity in classes and behavior is constantly monitored by the teacher guardians.
• Teacher guardian inform their ward's progress to parents if it is necessary.
• Teacher guardian constantly try to develop the desirable qualities in the students from placement point.
• Teacher guardian protect students from all mis-concepts regarding technical education which are passed on from generation to generation.
• Teacher-Guardian scheme channelises student energies in proper direction.

Personality Development Cell

This cell is meant for overall development of the student which will enable him/her to gain confidence in presentation, communication, group discussions, interviews and technical group leadership qualities.

Technical Activities:The training Placement Cell organized lecture series on the career counseling. Dr. K.L. Shah of Ohio Northern University delivered a lecture on 'Opportunities of higher education in US. Prof R.K.Pandit, TPO, MITS and Mr. M.L. Agrawal, DGM, Hotlines Pvt. Ltd. shared their views on needs of HRD in industries and interview techniques.
